A home from home on Scotland’s wild north coast.
With solitudinous wild land stretching as far as the eye can see, Kinloch is a place of escape. The Lodge is let on a whole-house basis to families, friends, and other clans, along with use of the majestic estate. Stay where the world can’t find you. Kinloch can sleep up to twelve people, with prices for hire starting from a party of eight guests onward.
SPACE TO GATHER
Guests at Kinloch have use of the whole house. Once the shooting lodge of the Dukes of Sutherland, Kinloch retains much of its vernacular charm, with some artistic twists to create cosy, eccentric spaces. You can gather in two living rooms for drinks, curl up in the library with a book, and catch-up in the kitchen or lounge in the conservatory overlooking the iconic Ben Hope.
SPACE TO SNOOZE
“My bedroom is my kingdom.” At Kinloch, guests can choose from seven highly individual rooms. Each room is a mix of traditional Scottish interiors spiced up with a Scandinavian look for details that make all the difference. The rooms all share bathrooms, making a stay at Kinloch extra homely. Because Kinloch is a traditional sporting lodge, it has been positioned to face away from prevailing winds for extra peaceful night sleeps.
SPACE TO PLAY
Kinloch is a place to let the day take you as it comes. You’re on Highland time now, after all. The lodge includes a multi-use annex to hangout in with with family and friends, offering comfy seating, a television, games console and a treatment room to relax and unwind in. Down by the river, you’ll find our sauna yurt for relaxing sweats and wild dips in the cool, rushing waters. Of course, the real adventures are waiting for you in the landscape beyond.
family style cooking
Kinloch is offered for exclusive catered hire only. Guests enjoy a curated menu throughout their stay, created by our dedicated chef, who will make use of everything the wild Scottish larder has to offer. Kinloch also offers a handpicked selection of wine from our in-house cellar, suitable for any moment, small or big, alongside a fine collection of beers and Scottish spirits.
